OHS Management

Aqua Environmental is currently accredited to Health and Safety Management Standard AS/NZS 4801 until November 2012.

At all times, on all projects, our employee safety and health is the highest priority. We have extensive induction and training procedures to ensure all employees remain vigilant when dealing with site safety.

We take practicable steps to ensure safety in the workplace, and in particular to:

  • Provide and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide and maintain facilities for the health and safety of employees.
  • Ensure plant and equipment is designed and maintained to be safe for use by all employees.
  • Ensure that employees are not exposed to hazards arising from or near the workplace.
  • Develop procedures for dealing with emergencies that may arise while employees are at work.
  • Ensure employees take all reasonable steps to ensure their safety at work and that no action or inaction by employees causes harm to themselves or other persons.
  • Ensure the systematic identification of all existing and new hazards to all employees.
  • Ensure that hazards that are identified must be regularly assessed to determine whether they are significant hazards.

We use an online compliance management system to ensure all protocols remain at the highest standard.
