Aqua Environmental is a family owned and operated business involved in the Australia and New Zealand water industries.

Established in 1979, we are a business with over 30 years water industry experience and in excess of 14 years specialised experience in the water loss and water leakage reduction fields.

Our primary business service is the provision of high quality water main leak detection services to water utility organisations for proactive water loss reduction and currently hold long term projects that enable us to survey in excess of 13,000km of water mains per year.

We maintain exceptionally high standards in all our business operations, employ the most skilled personnel in the industry and provide excellent training procedures to help support and maintain these standards.

We are known for our honesty and integrity on all our projects, many of which are under constant scrutiny due to the often drought situations that arise in our region.

Hugh Chapman Sr. (Chairman) and Hugh Chapman Jr. (General Manager) are both regular attendees at IWA Water Loss Task Force events and conferences. These strong ties have enabled Aqua Environmental to remain at the forefront of the leakage reduction industry in Australasia and become the and leading service provider in the region.

Our reputation is characterised by our long term relationships with some of the regions most reputable water utility organisations and businesses; namely Sydney Water, Yarra Valley Water, United Water International and Rio Tinto Iron Ore.

Aqua Environmental currently has established offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland – with the ability to mobilise crews to complete projects in other cities in Australia and New Zealand.
