Online Training Portal for Employees
1-Mar 2010: Training and the use of skilled personnel is crucial to the success on any water loss project. Our aim at Aqua Environmental is to continuously remain at the forefront of the water leakage industry through innovation, training
and retention of highly skilled employees.
Currently there no formal training for those in our industry (in Australia or New Zealand) and we have used our own internal knowledge from years of experience to develop a comprehensive training regime.
The continual training of employees is paramount to their professional development and understanding of the water leakage industry. It is very important that this training is regionally based and relevant to local conditions and experiences.
As technology changes so does the way our employees operate in the field and with this in mind Aqua Environmental has adopted a new online training portal for employees. This online portal allows Management to allocate courses and modules to employees via e-mail and for the employee to complete them during their professional development hours each week.
Each progression in course level allows the employee to gain a greater understanding not just of their work duties but also of the entire water loss industry and how their important their role is to overall leakage reduction.
Our online training courses and modules are SCORM compliant which is the international standard for web-based e-learning. SCORM is a specification of the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) initiative; a group established in 1997 to standardise and modernise education management and delivery.
Aqua Environmental has always prided itself on sourcing and training the highest quality Leakage Technicians in the industry. Our new online training tools will further enhance our reputation and allow us to continue delivering a world class leak detection service to our Clients.
Training is a key element in all OHS Management Systems and our new online training portal exceeds these requirements.
Currently our training programs are available to Aqua Environmental employees only giving us a competitive advantage in the industry.
