SmartBall® Project in Australia

SmartBall1

In December 2009, Aqua Environmental completed a SmartBall® Project on over 40km of large diameter pipeline for a leading bulk water provider in Australia.

The project was completed in conjunction with Pure Technologies from Canada who mobilised two staff with local support provided by our Melbourne based crew.

The project was a huge success with a number of leaks located on 1150mm and 1700mm steel mains. For demonstration and equipment capability reasons we also generated a number of small leaks (<1 lpm) on the water mains.

During the final day of the project we invited a number of water authority representatives from Australia and New Zealand to view the technology. The feedback was extremely positive and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Pure Technologies.
